Ah, the only two i win are disregarded. That sucks.

So, i am guessing 1 unit is the max?
That gets the plays "disregarded" ?
Why?

The plays were valid, just the unit amount was wrong. Why not just adjust the units?

A bit harsh, imo.

Jeff, why wasnt i 3-0 for +6.80 units... and shouldnt my bankroll have grown to over 20 with these wins? if not then, sorry.. i had tb, stl, and phil all at pickem.. all for 2 units..

Unfortunately, the selections are not consistent with the contest rules, so they were disregarded.

There were three or four opportunities for you to notice the problem before the two selections that were made last evening. Those opportunities included the following:

- The Contest Thread with the rules.
(Contest Rules)
- The Results Thread for Tuesday 15 April 2003 where the same problem was identified with a New Jersey and under parlay and where your daily record and results were higher than what you would expect if all of your selections were graded.
(Contest Results- April 15th)
- The Contest Thread for Wednesday 16 April 2003 where your available bankroll was higher than what you would expect if all of your selections from Tuesday 15 April 2003 were graded.
(Contest Selections- April 16th)
- The Contest Thread that was marked 'All Contestants Please Read'. There was a request for all contestants to review their posts on a daily basis for accuracy- you didn't question the fact that you did not lose two units on the New Jersey & under parlay on Tuesday evening.

The rules have been laid out to be as concise as possible, so that the grading process is as simple as possible to carry out and is as insulated as possible from dispute. I do not propose to amend units, as this becomes more difficult to do in subseqent rounds. (Consider that there is a six unit limit on sides and totals during the finals. If a contestant submits two selections on the same side, one for eight units and one for four units, what do I do? Do I take the eight unit selection down to six units and disregard the four unit selection? Do I assume that the contestant wanted the selections in a 2:1 ratio and take the eight unit selection down to four units and the four unit selection down to two units? Do I just skip over the eight unit selection and take the four unit selection? That's why that rule is there- I don't propose to figure out what contestants intended to do and I don't want to be put into a position where I have to defend any of the assumptions that I made.)
